Midwest Region – Brampton
About the family
Evelyn and I have served in both Ghana and Canada for many years as church planters specifically in Kumasi-Ghana and Montreal-Quebec. Our work in Montreal in particular gave us the opportunity to understand the greater need for the ministry to the West African immigrant population in North America. After much prayer and planning we moved to our current city Brampton to avail ourselves in serving as multiple site planters. Since 2012 we have successfully launched churches in Brampton, Canada and Baltimore, Maryland. We are currently working on starting new churches in Toronto, Calgary and Bristol-Connecticut, USA.
Evelyn and I have been married for the past 23 years and has been blessed with four wonderful kids. As we nurture them in different cultures to serve the Lord, they have responded in making our joy complete in serving with us in various capacities in the church.
About the Church Plant
Brampton is the ninth largest and the most diverse city in Canada with a population of approximately 550,000. Our vision is to build a multi-ethnic, missional church that is committed to minster through evangelism and discipleship to immigrants from the West African sub region and to use them as a springboard to reach other communities.
Our model is to witness and mentor members in a group session as we grow together allowing the Holy Spirit to lead us in our engagement. We believe that this will enable us: to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with many people; help members develop toward full Christian maturity and train them for effective ministry; meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of members and encourage, support and pray
Please pray that the Lord
– Will protect us from attacks from the evil as we give ourselves away in the building of his kingdom.
– Will supply the needed financial resources to free us to engage in our primary task of church planting i.e. witnessing
– Commit to pray for our ministry and us.
– Come to our church planting sites to do prayer walks, help in the discipleship ministry and do hands on street evangelism and one-on-one witnessing.
There are numerous ways to help a church plant. Please refer to NAMB’s website for the official policy statement concerning providing for church plants.
