Agape Global Community Fellowship
Downtown Region – Don Mills
About the family
Originally, we are from the Philippines and came to Toronto, Canada on December 11, 2011. We went here because God called us to serve Him here.
My wife’s name is Joy and she works at Young Street Mission as Administrator of their Evergreen Medical clinic which is serving the street youth. My two sons are Dave Adriel (17 years old) and Kayil Joseph (13 years old). At a young age Dave receive God’s calling to serve Him full-time. He wants to be a pastor someday. So he decided to go to Moody Bible Institute this Fall to prepare himself for full-time ministry. My two sons help us in our ministry by being a part of the church music ministry and the youth small group.
My wife and I graduated at Asian Theological Seminary and are serving the Lord full-time for 23 years now. Originally, we went here to pastor a church but the Lord has led to us to plant a new church.
About the Church Plant
By God’s will and grace, we were able to plant a church called Agape Global Community Fellowship located at Don Mills area in Toronto. This church is more than a year now. We celebrated our anniversary last November 28, 2014.
Our vision as a church is that “We are a multi-cultural community committed to evangelism and multiplication of disciples thereby, reaching the world for Jesus Christ.” We really want to a multi-cultural church although right now we are predominantly Filipinos, we want to reach out to other races. Now we have Egyptian, Bulgarian and Guyanese people in the church.
So we can effectively achieve our vision, we have small groups which we call Life Group for adults and youth for edification, evangelism & equipping.
Please join us in praying for the following things…
1. Our Life Groups will grow and multiply.
2. Support for our evangelistic and discipleship efforts.
3. My son’s application and finances for his education at Moody.
4. Approval of our permanent residence application.
We are asking for teams to join us in the following ways…
1. Become our prayer partners.
2. Provide help in evangelism and discipleship ministries.
3. Join the outreach activities of the church.
There are numerous ways to help a church plant. Please refer to NAMB’s website for the official policy statement concerning providing for church plants.
